There’s a place
for everyone at STAR!
The STAR Swim Team program structure offers training for
competitive swimmers six (6) years of age and over. Each program is
designed to benefit swimmers who are grouped together by age,
ability, competitive experience level, ability and training
commitment.
The number of practices, plus the duration and intensity of the
training level, define each program. The Coaching Staff moves
swimmers through the groups based on commitment and consistency in
practice effort, technique, attitude and attendance.

Register
Spring/Summer
Registration will be on April 5, 2010 from 5:00-6:30 PM on the
Hamline University Pool Deck.
New swimmers must
attend a new swimmers practice during registration April 5.
Registration is
held twice each year and it is a great time to learn more about
STAR Swim Team. The Coaching Staff and members of the Parent Board
are available to meet you and answer any questions you may have.
You must attend registration or register over the phone prior to
the registration date to ensure your membership in STAR. Call the
STAR office at 651-704-0024 for dates, times and location.
Any swimmer joining STAR for the first time, or any swimmer who
did not swim for STAR during the previous season, needs to come to
one of the new swimmer days for evaluation. The Coaching Staff
wants to make sure that every swimmer is placed in the proper
program at the start of each season.
Want to give STAR a try?
We offer a two week trial for a fee of $50.00. If a swimmer joins
after the trial period, this fee is applied to the regular program
fee.
